Job Title: Cleaner – Medical Centre (Uttoxeter)
Location: Uttoxeter, ST14 8JG
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30pm – 8:30pm
Contract Type: Temporary
About the Role:
Our client, a leading commercial cleaning contractor, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join their team at a busy medical centre in Uttoxeter.
You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitise waiting areas, reception, toilets, and medical rooms.
Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with hygiene protocols.
Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
Follow health and safety and infection control procedures at all times.
Report any maintenance or cleaning issues promptly to the supervisor.
Ensure cleaning schedules and checklists are completed as required.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience (medical or healthcare setting desirable).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Reliability and good time management skills.
Understanding of confidentiality and infection control standards.
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
